A poco más de dos meses que entrara en vigor la reforma al Código Civil de Distrito Federal que permite el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo, muchas parejas han podido realizar su trámite y conformarse como cónyuges legales; lo que demuestra el beneficio que la fuerza política está haciendo por nuestros derechos como una minoría, poco a poco más visible.
Pero esta aprobación a las familias diversas, como muchos procesos de cambio importantes en la estructura de la sociedad, también trajo algunas consecuencias negativas, como el incremento de la homofobia y discriminación, manifestándose both institutionally and in threats LGBT-phobic groups and / or homophobic, and what's worse, hate crimes.
In this situation, it is important to reflect on the changes we are making our participation, while they may generate fear, anger or aversion to the injustices done to our people, these feelings can be the engine for action to defend our rights and not let social barriers impede our development as any other human being in this country.
